Vadim Medvedev
Founder & Owner, SIA Samapack
Vadim Medvedev has more than 25 years of experience in the wooden packaging industry, specializing in pallet collars, wooden pallets and industrial packaging.
In 2000, he made Latvia’s first export sale of locally produced pallet collars to the European market.
Throughout his career, Vadim has been involved in the sale of more than 20 million units of wooden packaging and has developed long-standing business relationships across European markets, particularly in Germany.
He has also advised and supported Baltic manufacturing companies in the development of pallet and pallet collar production.
Today, Vadim is the Founder and Owner of SIA Samapack and continues to work as a consultant to several manufacturing companies in the Baltic States.

PRODUCT - PALLET COLLARS
Wooden pallet collars made from kiln-dried and planed wood with IPPC / ISPM 15 heat treatment.
Standard sizes: 1200 × 800 × 200 mm, 1200 × 1000 × 200 mm, 600 × 800 × 200 mm, or custom sizes according to customer requirements.
Construction: Available in 1-board or 2-board designs, with 4 or 6 galvanized steel hinges. Hinge thickness options: 1.25 mm, 1.5 mm, or 2.0 mm.
Materials: Pine/spruce wood or plywood, depending on the application and customer requirements.
Customization: Logo printing, hand holes, colored hinges, and other custom options available upon request.
Accessories: Top decks, pallet collar dividers, plastic stacking corners, and other accessories for complete packaging solutions.

- Durability and StrengthPlywood boxes combine the strength of galvanized steel with the advantages of natural wood. The plywood thickness - determined by the number of layers - can be selected individually depending on the weight of the cargo, transportation conditions, and the customer’s specific requirements. The type and grade of wood can also be selected to suit the application. This construction provides excellent strength, resistance to mechanical loads, and suitability for repeated use.
- Versatile ApplicationsPlywood boxes are suitable for a wide range of goods - from industrial machinery and components to electronics and valuable equipment. The dimensions, design, and configuration can be adapted to each specific application. We also accommodate custom requirements, including special internal or external fastenings, additional cargo securing elements, non-standard designs, and customized markings or labeling.
- Easy Assembly and Compact StoragePlywood boxes require no nails, staples, glue, or strapping for assembly. They can be quickly assembled and disassembled, while their flat-packed design takes up minimal space when not in use. This makes storage and return logistics easier and can significantly reduce transportation costs.
